the church of purity

The Church of Purity -house of God- was established during World War III. It's teachings spread from the US where it originated, towards Europe and the Middle East, though much of its popularity resides in the US and Europe today. The mission of said church was to denounce the grim, calling them satanists, witches, and better yet demons themselves. Since the grim began World War III, this church has since claimed that they were the beginning of the apocalypse. Despite the fact that the grim have extensively improved the quality of life, since the ending of the war, the church still strongly believes that the humans left over were spared for a purpose -that the world had ended at the beginning of the war, and now the remaining humans are here to prove to god their worth by suffering through the tribulations of life as they were not accepted into heaven during the rapture.

They most commonly spread their word with the use of technology. They taped their sermons, made frequent podcasts and interviews. The church even possess it's own website, created by young members -which inevitably helped spread the churches ideas and point of view to placed out of the US initially. Members of the church are extremely prejudice, and despise anyone that isn't purely human. Though it isn't entirely uncommon to see an occasional hybrid amongst them, it is very rare, and most are still looked down upon as lesser or vile even after they repent

Brotherhood of the Divine

This group of individuals has existed for centuries, without a particular date documented of it's initial creation. All can agree however that it has existed since before WWIII. This brotherhood of radical grim citizens was the reason why the race war began. Without their terrorist attacks against humanity and widespread publicity to spread an awareness of the grim kind some believe that the war would have never occurred. Whether this is true or not we will never find out.

Their influence throughout their own community was not as widespread as most would think. Their belief that grim are the real gods in existence was such a radical view point, that not all grim accepted them and as the war began to come to it's end the brotherhood's activities slowly became harshly looked down upon by those of their own race. These individuals were very violent after all, and with most wanting peace rather than the constant fight this organization became less and less popular.

Now that the war is over the group is no longer necessary for the survival of their kind, however most in this organization believe that they didn't 'truly' win the war -as their ultimate mission was to completely wipe out the human race entirely. In the present time the Brotherhood of the Divine is more secretive and exclusive than it once was, as it is very frowned upon in the current society. Government officials crack down on violence and especially don't tolerate it amongst those of their own kind, or the dwindling human populations.
